The OnH264Activated was added in the latest SDK version I think.

And in SkypeGlobalListener class OnH264Activated method does not override any method, because there is no such method in any of super classes.

In the Maven install command groupId should be com.skype.

We did not find any good alternatives. PHPList looked too complicated. We developed our own tools to manage the problems and just make sure that unsubscribes happen also on the MailChimp side with the help of their API.

I know this post is old but am hoping for some help...I've had my fill of Mailchimp they are horrendously bad and seem to hide behind emails, I can't seem to actually speak to anyone, no one wants to talk.

Anyways, how are you finding phplist or what else would you recommend (I have list of c.50,000 and send out daily emails - daily deal website)

Now I'm a Mac user and a lot of time has passed. Chrome is my fav browser and works like a charm. I feel that Firefox is the new IE, Chrome the new Firefox, Opera, well, I still don't get Opera :)

Chrome is massively unstable. Clicking on the "back" button, then on a new link on the prior page crashes it (bringing up the "Aw, Snap" dialogue) about three or four times in ten. Clearly there is something wrong with the reinitialisation; if you do a reload on the prior page then try the link again you should be okay.

However, for the time being, this browser is so unstable, I've uninstalled it and gone back to Firefox. Even their v6 versions weren't this bug-ridden and unstable!

Got it in 1,5 hours, including about an hour of failed attempts to solve it under Windows. Then switched to Linux and it was much easier to finish. The last step was a miracle for me as not being Java programmer: 10 minutes to find out how to run it, shame on me! Another shame: I don't know this phrase as I am not gamer either.

The only issue, is that its not simply "can the ancestor see the child's method"

Consider this example:

Thanks for the tip, looking into phplist. Just found out that Sendgrid is transacational emails + bulk email.

I've tried Sendgrid before and was quite disappointed with its user interface and documentation. I'm using Postmarkapp for transactional emails.

Sendgrid + phplist could be a great setup for more complex scenarios.
But yeah, also takes more time to get running and possibly less fancy reporting?

Yeah, sure. However I turned out that at some point some shift in file names has occurred, so quite a lot of files turned out to have a wrong name. Given that you won't get 100% correct names and would still need to do some manual work.

Actually i have same problem and only acceptable way is do the same steps, but im not a programmer ... can you send me a script or program that parse "DB.dat" and replace filenames, described in your article? I would be very happy to review my files again.

You're welcome. Btw, I still recommend them when starting out but at one point I think the tool will get in your way.

Wow I never thought you can easily block a mailchimp account through that way this is really alarming well I've seen several good MailChimp Review this is about the first time i read a negative one, thanks for sharing this one with us.

VisualVM/jps problem is caused by a bug in JDK. See http://bit.ly/iaQmYP. The fix of this regression is available in JDK 6 update 25
